Sharing the wealth of knowledge
We'll highlight some of our preferred resources here, setting you on the way to improving your information and communications.

Wall Street Journal Online          visit website

For those who want one source they can quickly turn to for timely, high-quality business news, the WSJ Online is an excellent option.  Highly recommended.   A subscription service that's well worth the reasonable rates.

(Please note:  We have no connection with WSJ Online)

Websearch U                             visit website

If you're interested in improving your search skills and knowledge, WebsearchU presents an excellent opportunity.

Run by Information Today, a leader in information research, Websearch U brings together some of the top researchers in the nation along with representatives of top information resources (such as Google, Yahoo, Factiva, GuruNet, Find.com, Market Central, and Ask Jeeves).

It's an excellent opportunity to learn advanced search strategies and pick up hints from some of the nation's top searchers.

Edward Tufte                           visit website

One of the best conferences I've attended is Edward R. Tufte's PRESENTING DATA AND INFORMATION.

Tufte is Professor Emeritus at Yale University where he taught courses in statistical evidence and information design.  Tufte is now one of the nation's premier experts on visual display of information and has written a number of books on the topic.

His seminar is focussed on effective presentation of information and Tufte spares no one in his highly researched critiques of effective vs. ineffective presentation of information.  I've never gained so much useful information from a two-day seminar (I understand it's now being offered as a one day course).

If you've ever wondered why your information didn't have the impact you thought it would when you presented it, this is the seminar for you.  Highly recommended.
